Robert Alcorn concentrates his practice on business litigation, commercial litigation, mortgage lending litigation, business law, commercial law and creditor-debtor relations.
Client Work
Robert handles a range of civil litigation matters for clients from a variety of industries, including residential mortgage lending, air cargo charter services, communications consulting, and medical equipment manufacturing and distribution, and municipalities and local governments.
Mr. Alcorn represents mortgage lenders and servicers on contract and foreclosure claims as well as other matters related to the mortgage lending industry. He also represents small business owners on collections and breach of contract claims. He serves as a substitute trustee for several major mortgage lenders in Dallas County.
Previous Work
Prior to joining the firm of Maris & Lanier, P.C., Mr. Alcorn represented the United States Small Business Administration in drafting and approving loan documents for the disaster recovery program.
