Our Employment Training Practice

Our lawyers provide in-person training for businesses in areas that carry a high degree of liability risk, including sexual harassment or discrimination under state or federal statutes. We will put together a comprehensive presentation tailored to your organization to help your employees understand what sexual harassment and discrimination are, so that they can avoid engaging in those actions and can recognize potential problems before they become serious. We will train management and supervisors regarding how to handle circumstances that arise, elevate early reporting of harassment and discrimination, and foster prevention.

We provide guidance regarding the different types of sexual harassment claims, strategies for preventing those types of claims and ways to respond when allegations have been made. We offer services to conduct or to guide internal investigations of harassment complaints. Our attorneys will also identify the specific laws governing discrimination in the workplace, such as the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Equal Pay Act and Title VII. We offer instruction about behaviors that can minimize exposure to liability under these statutes.
